Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a short-term, full-time, on-site contract to support TK–6th grade students in California.

You will manage ~45 students, collaborate with educators and psychologists, conduct assessments, and implement individualized interventions while ensuring compliant IEP processes and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid California SLP license or credentials for practice in the state.
• Background check and fingerprinting completed prior to start.
• Strong communication, organization, and IEP process management.
• Experience in a school setting with TK–6th grade students is desirable.
• Experience addressing mild-to-moderate and autism-specific needs; SLP-CCC or teletherapy encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of about 45 elementary students in direct therapy and assessments.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, special educators, and school psychologists.
• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and provide interventions.
• Lead and participate in IEP meetings and develop effective treatment plans.
• Maintain timely documentation and fulfill indirect administrative tasks during allotted time.

Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist for a short-term contract position supporting elementary students. Essential Qualifications:

• Valid California SLP license or appropriate credentials for practice in the state
• Completion of background check and fingerprinting (prior to start)
• Demonstrated strengths in communication, organization, and IEP process management
• Previous experience in a school setting and with TK6th grade students is highly desirable
• Competency in providing therapy for mild-to-moderate and autism-specific student needs
• Candidates with SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or teletherapy experience are encouraged to apply
