Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist to work onsite near Miami, FL. The role focuses on a manageable elementary caseload with a flexible, part-time schedule and guaranteed weekly hours.

You will deliver pediatric speech-language therapy aligned with IEP goals, monitor progress, and collaborate with teachers and families. Onsite teamwork and ongoing professional development are emphasized to support student success.

Qualifications

  • Florida SLP license required.
  • CCC or CFY eligibility as applicable.
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric and elementary speech therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality speech-language therapy to elementary students in accordance with IEP goals.
  • Monitor and document student progress with accurate reports and records.
  • Communicate student needs and achievements with educators, administrators, and families.
  • Occasionally participate in IEP meetings and offer recommendations.
  • Stay up to date on best practices in pediatric SLP through ongoing learning and collaboration.

  • Familiarity with school-based SLP practices, including IEP documentation (IEP meetings occur infrequently)
  • Ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and school teams
