Position Overview
Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based services in Miami, Florida for the 2026–2027 school year.
This part‑time opportunity is ideal for an SLP seeking a flexible schedule while making a meaningful impact on students' communication skills and academic success. Working just 12 hours per week across 2 days, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students with a variety of speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students with communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services in individual and small-group settings.
- Address articulation, expressive and receptive language, fluency, voice, social communication, and other speech-language needs.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs.
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to support student success.
- Utilize evidence‑based intervention strategies to improve communication skills and educational outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education regulations.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program required.
- Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (Clinical Fellows may be considered depending on district needs).
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a part‑time caseload.
