Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Broad knowledge of a discipline such as physical therapy, involving the use of broad theoretical knowledge equivalent to complete college or university education.
• Experience: Requires a minimum of one year up to and including three years of experience in physical therapy.
• License: Registration with the American Physical Therapy Association; Licensed Physical Therapist by Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services as determined by the IEP.
• Conducts evaluations of students with suspected delays and writes reports.
• Plans, writes and implements IEPs for students with gross motor needs.
• Consults with teachers and parents regarding student progress.
• Attends IEPs, parent conferences and staffing meetings as needed.
• Maintains attendance, evaluation and progress records.
