Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services, Inc. is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist to support students across K–12 in the Walnut Creek/Concord area.

You will collaborate with teachers, SLPs and school staff to develop IEP goals and deliver individual and group therapy, while maintaining documentation and ensuring state

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active California OT License (required).
• Experience or interest in pediatric/school-based populations.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric OT assessments evaluating fine/gross motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living skills.
• Provide individual and group therapy to address sensory-motor needs and development.
• Develop and implement IEP goals focusing on fine motor, sensory processing, self-regulation, and independence.
• Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, psychologists and school staff to support student success.
• Recommend and implement assistive technology and accommodations.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and state-compliant records.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families and staff.
