Ascend Rehab Services in the Oakland area is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist to support students across K–12 settings. You will conduct pediatric OT assessments, provide therapy, and collaborate with teachers and staff.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active California OT License (required).
• Experience or interest in pediatric/school-based settings.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric OT assessments to evaluate students' abilities.
• Provide individual and group therapy addressing sensory-motor needs.
• Develop and implement IEP goals for fine motor and self-regulation.
• Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, psychologists, and school staff.
• Maintain documentation and progress reports in accordance with guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
