Job summary

EDU-AIDs LLC is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in a school-based setting in Raytown, MO. Immediate starting date with a part-time schedule targeted toward supporting students with disabilities in an inclusive learning environment.

You will conduct evaluations, set goals to improve mobility and functional independence, collaborate with teachers and student support teams, monitor progress, and maintain IEP documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist for school settings.
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with staff, parents, and community members.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' physical abilities and mobility relevant to pediatric care as needed.
• Develop and implement individualized goals to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and functional independence.
• Collaborate closely with teachers and child study team.
• Monitor and assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP compliance.
• Participate in professional development and training as required.
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
