Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program - Diploma, ADN, or BSN.
• 3+ years of nursing experience; school-based or pediatric experience valued.
• Current, unrestricted RN license to practice in DC.
• CPR/First Aid certified or eligible.
• Tracheostomy care experience strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting complex medical needs valued.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily nursing care for students with complex medical needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and monitoring.
• Administer medications and document treatments and responses.
• Collaborate with families and school staff to support student health.
