Job summary

The Children’s Guild DC Public Charter School is seeking a School Nurse to provide attentive, individualized care to students with complex medical needs. Washington, DC, full-time position with $45–$55/hour based on experience, including strong preference for tracheostomy care experience.

Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma/ADN/BSN) with a DC RN license and at least 3 years of nursing experience; CPR/First Aid certification is required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program — Diploma, ADN, or BSN.
• 3+ years of nursing experience; school-based or pediatric experience valued.
• Current, unrestricted RN license to practice in DC.
• CPR/First Aid certified or eligible.
• Tracheostomy Care Experience Strongly Preferred.
• Experience supporting complex medical needs valued.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities
