Job summary

Easterseals Southeastern Pennsylvania is hiring a licensed nurse to provide medical support to preschool children in an Approved Private School setting. You will manage medications, care plans, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include documentation, med administration, and collaboration with families and staff to address medical or safety concerns. CPR/First Aid and valid clearances are required.

Qualifications

• Pennsylvania RN or LPN license required.
• Experience in seizure management and tube feeding.
• Experience with children with special needs preferred.
• School-based experience a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certification for Adult, Child and Infant required.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills required.
• Complete all required clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical support to preschool-aged children in the Approved Private School.
• Manage student documentation, provide medical care and medication administration, and coordinate with staff.
• Administer first aid, illness assessment, emergency care when needed, and coordinate with nurses.
• Consult with staff and administration; coordinate with private duty nurses and maintain medical records.
• Communicate with staff, students, and parents to address medical or safety concerns.
