An educational institution is seeking a dedicated School Nurse to support the health and wellness of students in grades PA-12. The ideal candidate will be a Licensed RN with a current PA license and experience in school health. Responsibilities include managing healthcare at the school, communicating with parents about medical concerns, coordinating care, documenting visits, and administering medications. This position requires availability Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm throughout the calendar year.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed RN with a current PA license is required.
• BSN degree or LPN is mandatory.
• CPR certification with Red Cross instructor certification is preferred.

• Manage all health information and healthcare at the school.
• Communicate with parents regarding medical issues.
• Coordinate care for concussed students with doctors and parents.
• Document student visits and physician notes using Blackbaud.
• Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications.
