Job summary

Westside Community Schools in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a Personal Care Nurse for District Wide coverage. 35 hours per week, 10 months, with starting RN or LPN pay rates depending on licensure.

Under supervision of the Health Resources Consultant, you will deliver individualized medical care to students, support educational goals, and follow the Individual Health Plan with adherence to district policies.

Qualifications

• Current valid Nebraska LPN or RN license.
• Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support.
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess student health status and needs for the school day with HRC RN input.
• Deliver nursing care following the Individual Health Plan and district policies.
• Evaluate outcomes of nursing interventions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct with students and staff.
• Support classroom teachers and assist with student activities as directed.
