Qualifications

• Must be licensed (or eligible) as a Physical Therapist in New York.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital/acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review patient referrals and assess physical condition and needs.
• Develop treatment plans with therapeutic exercise and gait training.
• Instruct patients in mobility aids, braces, prosthetics, and equipment.
• Reassess and modify plans based on progress and clinical judgment.
• Coordinate care with physicians and rehab team members.
• Document evaluations, plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Support rehab staff and maintain safety and infection control standards.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development.
