Management Performance Associates is seeking a School-Based Physical Therapist (Pediatric) to support Elmira City School District in Elmira, NY. This full-time role offers a 10-month calendar with Summers off or a 12-month option, allowing you to impact students’ strength and independence within a collaborative school setting.

You will evaluate students, develop individualized plans, and provide therapy across mobility, gait, and functional training, reporting to the Clinical Coordinator of

Qualifications

• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as a Physical Therapist in New York State.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital or acute care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate students, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions.
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team and report to the Clinical Coordinator of Rehab Services.
• Review therapy referrals and assess students’ physical needs.
• Develop and implement treatment plans including therapeutic exercise, gait training, and functional training.
• Teach use of mobility aids, braces, prosthetics, and adaptive equipment.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team members for coordinated care.
• Complete documentation (evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries).
• Provide direction to rehab support staff and maintain safety and infection control.
