Job summary

Genesis HealthCare is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our pediatric school-based program in New York. You will provide OT services in the school setting, conduct evaluations, and track student progress to support individualized education plans.

Ideal candidates hold an ACOTE-accredited OT degree, NBCOT certification, and a valid license to practice in New York, with a collaborative approach to working with families, teachers, and clinicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an ACOTE-accredited OT curriculum.
• Initial NBCOT certification required.
• Valid and unencumbered OT license to practice in the state of New York.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services to children in the school setting.
• Performs evaluations and assessments and tracks child progress.
• Delivers Occupational Therapy services as mandated in the IEP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support the goals of each child.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.
