Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc. is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide school-based OT services in the New York area. You will assess and treat children within the school setting, aligning interventions with IEP goals and progress monitoring.

Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to support each child’s development and ensure documentation is accurate and timely. A ACOTE-accredited degree and NBOT registration are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• Must have initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Must hold a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services to children in the school setting.
• Perform evaluations and assessments and track child progress.
• Deliver Occupational Therapy services as mandated in the IEP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support the goals of each child.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.

Education
