Job summary

Smiles in Motion Pediatric Dentistry is expanding into the La Crosse area and is seeking a Scheduling & Financial Coordinator to create extraordinary patient experiences while supporting high-quality dental care.

The role manages the patient schedule, greets patients and parents, verifies insurance eligibility and benefits, and handles monetary collections. This full-time position offers growth opportunities, medical/dental/vision, 401K, PTO, holidays, and bonus opportunities.

• Dental experience helpful but great attitude and strong work ethic prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones in a timely and pleasant manner.
• Set up new patient visits and collect all patient information.
• Check in patients on arrival and monitor schedule.
• Schedule continuing care and treatment appointments after each visit.
• Enter insurance information and check eligibility; answer benefit questions.
• Submit insurance claims and prior authorizations to private and state insurances.
• Collect and post payments from patients on the day of service or by mail/phone.
• Other duties as necessary.
