Job summary

Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network in Tacoma, WA is hiring a Pediatric Med Surg RN for 12-hour day shifts. The role offers a 0.9 FTE schedule with a potential sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. A BSN is preferred and current RN licensure in WA is required.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
• Current BLS Certification required
• ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department
• Certification in specialty area preferred
• One (1) year of experience in acute care setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process per hospital policies and protocols
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care and patient experience
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families, staff and health team members
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds
