Job summary

The New Grad RN Resident in the Pediatric Unit at Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus provides direct nursing care to pediatric patients, emphasizing family-centered, high-quality care. This role supports new graduates starting their careers in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) required.
• One year of acute care RN experience preferred (military RN considered).
• Current RN license and BLS certification; ACLS preferred for CCU areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
