Job summary

Dayton Children's Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse in the Nursing Education department for a full-time position on the Main Campus. The RN will deliver professional nursing care following ANA and Ohio Board of Nursing standards and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patients and families.

Ideal candidates hold an active Ohio RN license, are committed to earning a BSN within five years of hire, and have graduation from an accredited nursing program.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing required.
• RN license in Ohio; CPR certification.
• Commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire; graduation from accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per ANA and Ohio Board of Nursing standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to promote patient and family health and experiences.
• Adapt nursing care to changing census and patient needs; serve as a change agent to improve outcomes.
• Rotate through multiple pediatric units, including hematology/oncology and house float as needed.
