Job summary

Dayton Children’s is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Nursing Education team at the Main Campus. The RN will provide professional pediatric nursing care, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support patients and families while aligning with the hospital mission.

This full-time position requires an active Ohio RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and CPR certification. A plan to complete BSN within five years is encouraged and supported by the department.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing is required.
• RN license in Ohio is required.
• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing must be completed within 5 years of hire.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care according to ANA and Ohio Board of Nursing standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to promote patient and family health.
• Deliver care based on documented patient/family needs and hospital mission.
• Support a patient- and family-centered care environment.
