Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide pediatric patient care in a family-centered clinic setting. The role emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention, and safe, efficient care through an episode of care.

You will work with providers and staff to ensure smooth clinic flow and positive patient outcomes. Required Ohio RN licensure, BLS, and at least three years of pediatric clinical experience (preferred).

Qualifications

• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited school is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred; must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assesses individualized patient needs and plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
• Ensures clinic processes and workflows comply with regulatory and policy compliance.
• Works closely with providers and other team members to ensure smooth clinic flow addressing patient/parent concerns and attaining positive patient and family outcomes.
• Documents according to organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
• Engages in data collection or auditing, understands Quality Improvement, and reports updates back to staff.

Education

ACEN/CCNE accredited school graduate

BSN preferred; must complete BSN within 5 years
