Job summary

Dayton Children's is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Nursing Education department at the Main Campus. The RN will provide professional nursing care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and promote a patient and family-centered care approach. A BSN is encouraged within 5 years of hire, with Ohio RN licensure and CPR certification required.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, at the Dayton Children's Main Campus, with a focus on education and adherence to ANA and state standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
• BSN within 5 years of hire is encouraged/required by the facility schedule.
• Ohio RN license and CPR certification are required or must be obtained as part of licensing.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per ANA standards and Ohio Board of Nursing requirements.
• Interact with an interdisciplinary team to promote patient and family health outcomes.
• Contribute to a patient and family experience-oriented environment and act as a change agent to adapt to census and patient needs.
