Qualifications

• Two year ADN or BSN or Diploma Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in RN to BSN program preferred.
• Current Arizona RN license or multistate compact license before start date.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association before start date.

Responsibilities

• Completes nursing assessment of patient conditions across age and development, determining initial care plan.
• Continually evaluates patient responses and documents progress for team communication.
• Ensures medication handling, storage and documentation meet standards and regulations.
• Provides unit orientation and guidance to patients, families, and staff on policies and processes.
• Supervises nursing activities and delegates tasks based on competence, providing timely feedback.
