Qualifications

• Two year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in an RN to BSN program.

Responsibilities

• Completes nursing assessment of patient conditions across age/condition and initial treatment plan.
• Evaluates patient responses and documents progress for team communication.
• Ensures compliance with medication, storage, and documentation standards and regulations.
• Provides orientation to unit policies and hospital processes.
• Supervises and guides patient care activities of assigned staff and students.
• Collaborates with care team to coordinate plan of care and rounds.
• Mentors students and new employees through clinical instruction.
