Job summary

AMI Expeditionary Healthcare seeks Pediatric Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide inpatient nursing support at NIH in Bethesda, Maryland, caring for infants to adolescents with acute, chronic, and complex medical needs within an interdisciplinary team.

The RN will monitor patients, administer medications and therapies, support families, document precisely, and follow NIH, HIPAA and clinical standards. This is a 13-week contract with three 12-hour night shifts per week.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of pediatric acute-care hospital experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or diploma in Nursing from an accredited program.
• NCLEX-RN successful completion and current RN license in at least one U.S. state.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents with acute, chronic, and complex conditions.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in clinical status.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and therapies per protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation.
