Job summary

AMI Expeditionary Healthcare is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (ICU) to support the NIH in Bethesda, Maryland. This role focuses on delivering high-quality outpatient nursing care in a collaborative environment alongside renowned healthcare professionals and researchers.

The position requires a BSN/ADN or nursing diploma, active RN license, 2–3 years ICU experience, and current BLS/ACLS (CCRN preferred).

Qualifications

• BSN/ADN or Nursing Diploma from an accredited program.
• 2-3 years of current Critical Care experience in an Acute Care hospital setting.
• Successful completion of the NCLEX.
• Active, unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; CCRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient nursing care alongside providers and interdisciplinary teams.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and manage ventilators and invasive procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians during rounds to coordinate care and maintain documentation.
• Deliver patient care including wound care, infection prevention, and patient education while ensuring HIPAA/OSHA compliance.
• Maintain readiness by stocking supplies, preparing rooms, and completing shift reports.
