MEADVILLE MEDICAL CENTER in Meadville, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pediatric/New Life Unit. This full-time, evenings/night position requires caring for newborns to adolescents and cross-training for mothers and cesarean-born infants.

The role emphasizes leadership as charge nurse, sharp clinical judgment, and teamwork with surgical, anesthesia and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with Pennsylvania RN licensure.
• NRP certification within one year of hire.
• One year of acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills for charge nurse role.

Responsabilidades

• Care for inpatient pediatric patients from newborn to 17 years old.
• Cross-train to New Life Unit to care for mothers and newborns.
• Provide clinical leadership and assist during cesarean births.
• Maintain accurate charting and nursing documentation per MMC policy.
• Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and nursing teams for patient care.
• Participate in unit credentialing and hospital educational activities.
