Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance, quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Applies nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ethical practice.
• Administers medications, treatments, and therapies per protocol.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Demonstrates clear communication and effective delegation.
• Participates in professional development and maintains certifications.
• May float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
