Job summary

CareFinders Total Care in Bloomfield, NJ is hiring RNs and LPNs for in-home pediatric care. You provide one-on-one skilled nursing to children with autism, seizure disorders, developmental delays, or feeding tube needs, ensuring comfort and safety in their own homes.

Flexible shifts include nights and weekends; competitive pay ranges and benefits; CPR/BLS certification preferred and pediatric experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license (state-specific)
• Willingness to work in Bloomfield
• Pediatric experience preferred, not required
• CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Comfortable providing care for children with developmental and complex medical needs
• Dependable, patient, and attentive bedside manner

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in a home setting
• Frequent standing and walking; assisting patients; operating medical equipment; bending, reaching, positioning; occasional patient transfers or lifting
• Monitor the child’s health, safety, and overall condition
• Administer medications and perform routine treatments
• Provide seizure awareness and response (training available if needed)
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and daily care needs
• Complete clinical documentation and progress notes
• Communicate changes, concerns, and updates with parents and care team
• Support individualized care planning and ongoing updates (as applicable in home care model)
• Offer comfort, engagement, and emotional reassurance throughout care

Immediate Availability in Bloomfield, NJ-Saturday, Sunday and Monday: 10pm-6am
*Additional day, evening & overnight shifts as well*
