CareFinders Total Care is hiring Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for in-home pediatric care in Newark. You will work one-on-one with children who have autism, seizure disorders, developmental delays, or feeding tube needs, providing skilled nursing care and emotional support to families.

Roles offer flexible shifts with Saturdays and Sundays 8am-12am, and additional days, evenings, and overnights.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license (state-specific).
• Willingness to work in Newark.
• Pediatric experience preferred, not required.
• New graduates welcome.
• CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Comfortable providing care for children with developmental and complex medical needs.
• Dependable, patient, and attentive bedside manner.

Responsabilités

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in a home setting.
• Monitor health, safety, and overall condition.
• Administer medications and routine treatments.
• Complete clinical documentation and progress notes.
• Communicate changes with parents and care team.
• Support individualized care planning and updates.
• Offer comfort, engagement, and emotional reassurance.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in a home setting
• Frequent standing and walking; assisting patients; operating medical equipment; bending, reaching, positioning; occasional patient transfers or lifting; exposure to healthcare environments.
• Monitor the child’s health, safety, and overall condition
• Administer medications and perform routine treatments
• Provide seizure awareness and response (training available if needed)
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and daily care needs
• Complete clinical documentation and progress notes
• Communicate changes, concerns, and updates with parents and care team
• Support individualized care planning and ongoing updates (as applicable in home care model)
• Offer comfort, engagement, and emotional reassurance throughout care
