CareGivers America is seeking compassionate RNs and LPNs to provide one-on-one pediatric care in the home in Albrightsville, PA. Flexible evening shifts available with supportive training and growth opportunities.

Ideal for nurses who want to make a difference in children's lives; new graduates welcome. CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain. Carbon County locations encouraged.

Qualifications

• License required: RN or LPN in state of practice.
• Willingness to work in Carbon County, PA.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.

• Comfort with caring for children with developmental/medical needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 skilled nursing care to children in their homes.
• Monitor child’s health, safety, and condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Seizure monitoring and response with training as needed.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, feeding, and daily care needs.
• Monitor feeding tubes and medical equipment as applicable.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and care records.
• Communicate changes with parents, caregivers, and care team.
• Follow individualized care plans and physician orders.
• Provide comfort, reassurance, and age-appropriate engagement.

CareGivers America is hiring compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide one-on-one pediatric care in the home and community.

Job Requirements:

• Active RN or LPN license in the state of practice
• Willingness to work in Carbon County
• Pediatric experience preferred, but not required
• New graduates welcome
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable caring for children with developmental and complex medical needs
• Reliable, compassionate, patient, and attentive
• Able to provide hands-on care, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, positioning, and assisting with mobility or transfers
• Ability to safely operate and monitor medical equipment as required

What You’ll Do:

• Provide 1:1 skilled nursing care to children in a safe, in-home setting
• Monitor the child's health, safety, and overall condition
• Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered
• Provide seizure monitoring and response, with training available as needed
• Assist with mobility, positioning, feeding, and other daily care needs
• Monitor and assist with feeding tubes and other medical equipment as applicable
• Complete accurate clinical documentation, progress notes, and required care records
• Communicate changes in condition, concerns, and updates with parents, caregivers, and the care team
• Follow individualized care plans and physician orders
• Provide comfort, reassurance, and age-appropriate engagement throughout the shift
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for the child
