Adventist Health Sierra Vista in California is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pediatric unit to provide high-quality care during night shifts. This role requires recent RN practice, BLS, PALS, NRP, and prior charge nurse experience to oversee day-to-day operations and mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• Charge RN experience required.
• RN licensure in the state of practice.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification is preferred.
• PALS certification is required.
• NRP certification is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or an equivalent combination of education and related experience is required.
• Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Five years of technical experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated supervisory skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations on the unit.
• Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff as needed.
• Assist with staff scheduling and resource management.
