Job summary

ProHealth Physicians, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Registered Nurse for Wallingford Pediatrics in Connecticut. This full-time position (40 hours/week) includes daytime hours, occasional Saturdays, and a 4x10 option depending on staffing needs.

You will provide and document nursing care, educate patients, triage per protocols, and coordinate with providers to ensure comprehensive care. ProHealth emphasizes teamwork, patient-centered care, and access to resources.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in CT
• Intermediate level of computer proficiency in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and document in the EHR.
• Triage patients according to protocols and scheduling guidelines.
• Educate patients on illness and self-management of their condition.
• Carry out standing orders consistent with practice policies.
• Document patient interactions and clinical activities in the EHR.
• Coordinate with care team and resources to assist patients.
