Job summary

Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse for Pediatrics nights to provide coordinated care across all ages. You will assess and plan patient care, administer treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

The role requires Virginia RN licensure, BLS-HCP, and EPIC experience. You will participate in education, performance improvement, and patient advocacy within a supportive healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of school of professional nursing, eligible to sit for VA licensure.
• Currently licensed as Registered Nurse in Virginia or eligible to obtain Virginia RN licensure.
• AHA BLS-HCP required; may need ACLS, PALS, NRP depending on unit.
• Computer skills required for electronic medical records (EPIC).

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Perform age-specific assessments and develop care plans.
• Collaborate with care team to implement and revise interdisciplinary plans of care.
• Administer treatments and medications; document in electronic systems.
• Educate patients and families; participate in performance improvement activities.
• Support orientation of new staff and provide feedback.
