Job summary
Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide in-home pediatric nursing care in Seward, Nebraska.
The role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating client care within contracted home health services, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities include initiating and adjusting plans of care, administering medications, and coordinating education and discharge planning.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of practice.
- Current Health Certificate required.
- Current PPD or Chest X-Ray on file.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- One year RN experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for home-based pediatric clients.
- Initiates the plan of care and revises as patient needs change.
- Implements therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions.
- Responds to changes in patient condition and reports to physician or supervisor.
- Administers medications and treatments and monitors outcomes.
- Reviews care plans and coordinates education and discharge planning.
