Job summary

Bronson Methodist Hospital is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join the Children's Float Pool, covering Peds, PICU, and NICU units. You will deliver direct patient care, assess needs, and coordinate care across departments to support timely discharges and positive outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree in Nursing with MI RN licensure; BSN preferred and must be pursued within eight years of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; must obtain within 8 years of hire.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing with the State of Michigan.
• BSN must be obtained within 8 years of hire date.
• BLS competency required by completion of core orientation.
• Critical care or Advanced Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Float to Peds, PICU, and NICU to manage care across units.
• Assess patients and deliver nursing care per population served.
• Participate in discharge planning and care coordination.
• Document nursing history, vital signs and patient responses.
• Administer medications and treatments per nursing techniques and policies.
