Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Jersey Shore University Medical Center in New Jersey. The role requires a current NJ nursing license and BLS/CPR certification with at least two years of pediatric, PICU or NICU experience.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required.
• Active BLS/CPR certification required.
• Minimum 2 years pediatric, PICU or NICU nursing experience.
• NRP preferred.
• Pediatric IV therapy and bereavement certifications preferred.
• BSN in progress or willing to acquire within three years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per evidence-based practices and standards of care.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, families and health-care team.
• Administer medications with bar-scanning and documentation.
• Document care in the electronic medical record (POC).
• Provide patient and family education to optimize health and disease management.
• Assist with safe discharge planning and continuity of care.
