Job summary

Ascension is hosting a Registered Nurse Fellowship in pediatric care at Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, TX. The program targets RNs with more than one year of experience transitioning to a new specialty, offering direct patient care and team collaboration in a night-shift setting.

Minimum requirements include a nursing diploma or equivalent licensure, BLS certification within 30 days, and an active RN license.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure.
• RN license required prior to hire.
• Minimum of 1 year bedside RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as an RN following established protocols.
• Observe, document, and communicate changes in patient condition to the team.
• Implement and monitor individualized care plans and nursing interventions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EHR/EMR to support quality and compliance.
