The Division of Rheumatology in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Washington invites applications for a full-time Clinician-Scholar track position at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor without tenure by reason of funding. The anticipated start date is winter 2026.

The candidate will provide pediatric rheumatology clinical care across outpatient, inpatient and outreach settings, along with immunosuppressive medication management and intraarticular procedures.

Qualifications

• Requires an MD, DO, or MD/DO combined (or foreign equivalent).
• Board certified or eligible in Pediatric Rheumatology and eligible for medical licensure in Washington state.
• USMLE (or equivalent) steps completed for H-1B sponsorship eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Engage in pediatric rheumatology clinical care in outpatient, inpatient, and outreach settings, as well as immunosuppressive medication management and intraarticular aspirations/injections.
• The successful candidate will spend 80% time in clinical care and 20% time in administrative and scholarly pursuit including teaching and mentoring.
• Clinical effort may be reduced commensurate with grant funding.
