Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time pediatric rheumatologist to join our growing team! The rheumatology department provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents on both inpatient and outpatient bases. Common diagnoses include juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, recurrent fever syndrome, vasculitis, and dermatomyositis. Common procedures include joint injections and joint aspirations performed in conjunction with the pediatric sedation team.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) required.
• American Heart Association BLS and PALS certifications.
• Unrestricted Texas Medical license (must obtain prior to start date).
• Successful completion of an ACGME or AMA-accredited residency in pediatrics.
• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Rheumatology.
