Job summary

Children’s Nebraska is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Clinical Supervisor for a full-time night shift (7:00 pm – 7:30 am). This role leads the RT department, ensures quality patient care, and maintains operational flow in collaboration with the RT manager.

The supervisor will guide staff development, ensure licensure compliance, and coordinate daily activities to achieve optimal outcomes for pediatric patients. A strong leadership background and NBRC credentials are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be an RT with NBRC credentials and licensed in Nebraska.
• Minimum 5 years RT experience, including 3 years in pediatrics.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define departmental standards and oversee shift operations.
• Lead and supervise RT staff and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with licensure and quality standards.
• Educate patients and families about therapies.
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment.
• Participate in budget and business planning.
• Provide emergency care and resuscitation when needed.
