Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join the night shift on a 36-hour work week for a 12-week assignment. You will provide comprehensive respiratory care across neonatal to geriatric patients, and educate team members to ensure continuity of care.

Applicants must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), licensed in NC, with BLS; PALS/NRP within 90 days and ACLS within 90 days of employment. AMA-approved education is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved two or four-year program for respiratory care.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC and licensed in NC.
• BLS required; PALS and NRP within 90 days of employment; ACLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality respiratory care per policy for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent and adult patients.
• Performs approved procedures and monitors equipment to promote positive outcomes.
• Educates patient, medical staff and allied professionals to assure continuity of care.
• Assists with clinical instruction and skill building for students and interns.
• Evaluates and implements procedures based on current cardio-respiratory trends.
