Job summary

Bronson Healthcare is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a full-time position with a 12-hour day shift. Under supervision, this role involves providing respiratory care to patients, following healthcare guidelines, and administering therapies as indicated. The successful candidate will need to have an Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy and a current license in Michigan. A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is available for external candidates.

Responsibilities include evaluating patient therapy responses, maintaining respiratory equipment, and providing patient education. Candidates must be BLS and ACLS certified. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable organization committed to patient care.

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Therapist license in Michigan required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials (RRT) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Must attend required courses: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and AAP-NRP.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and administer respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies.
• Evaluate blood gases in a logical manner.
• Communicate patient therapy findings to appropriate personnel.
