TFHC is a federally qualified health center in Tampa, Florida, seeking a Pediatrician to join the Residency Faculty. You will provide comprehensive care to infants, children, and adolescents while supervising pediatric residents and contributing to teaching and curriculum.

The role blends direct patient care with resident education, program development, and collaboration with leadership to improve access to high-quality care for underserved communities within Hillsborough County.

Qualificações

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency Program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics, meeting applicable residency faculty requirements.
• Active, unrestricted Florida medical license.
• Active DEA registration and current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to resident education and compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive pediatric care, including preventive visits, acute treatment, developmental assessments, and chronic disease management.
• Diagnose and treat patients, develop treatment plans, and coordinate specialty referrals.
• Educate patients and families regarding wellness, treatment, and disease prevention.
• Teach, supervise, evaluate, and mentor pediatric residents.
• Participate in continuity clinics, didactic sessions, case discussions, and educational activities.
• Collaborate with residency leadership on curriculum development, program improvement, and accreditation readiness.
• Support quality improvement, scholarly activities, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with applicable regulatory and organizational requirements.
