Job summary

UNM Hospitals is seeking a PRN Pediatric rehab support team member to assist physical therapists, therapists assistants, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists across pediatric to geriatric age groups. You will help with patient care activities, clerical duties, and required data entry in Cerner EMR, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Role requires high school diploma or GED, CPR/BLS within 30 days, and flexibility for days with acute care environments.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• No minimum experience is required.
• CPR for Healthcare/BLS within 30 days or before start is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow patient safety-related policies, procedures and protocols.
• Assist therapists with patient treatment activities as directed by supervising therapist.
• Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, oxygen saturation, weight, height, BP).
• Enter requested data into electronic medical records and assist with data collection for process improvements.
• Order equipment and supplies as directed by supervisor and maintain inventory.
