Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a patient care assistant to support physical or occupational therapy staff in delivering patient services, including transfers, transports, ADLs and ambulation. You will help maintain department order by changing linen and cleaning and storing equipment after use.

The role provides benefits and requires CPR certification and a high school diploma or GED. Shifts are PRN/Flexi with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Currently certified in CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transfers, transports, activities of daily living, and ambulation as directed.
• Ensure department is maintained in an orderly condition, changing linen and cleaning and storing equipment after use.
