Job summary

Children’s Nebraska is seeking a dedicated rehabilitation services support role to assist PT/OT/speech therapy teams and help manage patient flow. You will handle scheduling, patient greetings, and front desk tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations.

The role also covers infection control, inventory management, and clerical duties to support high-quality patient care. A High School Diploma or GED and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in medical setting or with children preferred.
• Excellent communication and basic computer skills.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong time management and organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist with infection control standards and organize clinical, storage and office spaces.
• Answer phones and manage front desk communications in a timely, patient-friendly manner.
• Assist patients and families with completing forms and patient experience surveys.
• Help schedule patients and manage therapy orders and Medicaid re-certifications.
• Maintain inventory of patient and office supplies and PPE.
• Support therapists in treatment sessions and patient transport.
• Create patient communication boards and treatment materials as directed by therapists.
