Job summary

Shriners Children’s in the United States is seeking a Rehab Aide I to assist licensed therapists in delivering patient care and maintaining a safe, clean therapy environment.

You will help set up equipment, transport patients, organize supplies, and support treatment programs under supervision. A high school diploma or GED is required; one year of rehab/therapy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with set-up of equipment and patient transportation under supervision.
• Assists therapists with non-direct patient care needs to enhance one-to-one treatment.
• Keeps treatment areas and supplies organized and accessible.
• Maintains inventory of routinely used supplies and orders additional items.
• Cleans treatment areas and equipment following hospital policies and manufacturers’ guidelines.
• Greets patients and families and notifies therapist of arrivals; learns basic equipment maintenance.
