Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin in Mequon seeks an adaptable clinic support role focused on patient care and operations. You will assist clinicians, help with rooming, scheduling, and daily clinic flow to improve patient experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining supplies, sanitation, confidentiality, and coordination with engineering and processing teams. FLSA-based schedule includes working two Saturdays per month at the Mequon clinic.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED preferred.
• Experience in pediatric healthcare preferred or relevant education.
• BLS certification is required or expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care responsibilities as directed by the clinician.
• Assist with rooming, in-clinic check out and scheduling to enhance patient experience.
• Monitor daily schedule including appointments, no-shows, cancellations and wait list.
• Inventory and order supplies; stock department rooms.
• Maintain clean, safe treatment areas and ensure proper storage per standards.
• Clean treatment areas, equipment and materials after sessions with therapists.
• Check expiration dates and monitor refrigerator temperatures; take action if needed.
• Liaise with clinical engineering for missing equipment reports.
• Deliver instruments to sterile processing or food services; greet patients/families, and manage calls when needed.
